CEV is proud to announce that the construction of its new production plant with approximately 17,000m2 of built area has been concluded and is now fully operating. The construction took 8 months of hard work. The plant was financed by investors, banks, and EU funds. ProBlad™ biofungicide will start being produced on an industrial scale after 5 years of being developed at the former pilot plant in Seixal, near Lisbon. The new industrial factory is located in a small town called Cantanhede, which sits close to Coimbra city, in the center of Portugal.
The plant is divided into 4 different blocks:
- Germination chambers
- Processing, formulation, and packaging lines
- Laboratories
- Administration area
