ProBlad™: New registration approved in Romania

CEV, S.A. is thrilled to announce the official registration approval of ProBlad™ in Romania.

This approval highlights ProBlad™ versatility and efficacy on the following crops and fungal diseases:

MAJOR USES – ProBlad™ is authorized for controlling Powdery Mildew and Botrytis on:

  • Tomato (greenhouse)
  • Strawberries (greenhouse and open field)
  • Grapevines
  • Cucurbits (greenhouse)
 
Additionally, on Kiwi, it was also approved on powdery mildew and Monilinia.
 

MINOR USES – ProBlad™ is authorized for controlling Powdery Mildew and Botrytis on:

  • Aubergine (greenhouse)
  • Aromatic Herbs (greenhouse)
  • Brussels, Sprouts, Chinese Cabbege and Kale (greenhouse)
  • Zucchini, Melon and Pumpkin (greenhouse)
  • Chili Peppers (greenhouse)
 
Additionally, it was also approval on powdery mildew, blossom blight, and brown rot on:
 
  • Apricot, Sweet and Sour Cherry, Peach, Nectarine and Plums
  • Hazel, Common Walnut and Sweet Chestnut Tree
 
It also was approval, on Green Bean, Green Pea and Broad Bean for powdery mildew and white mold.

ProBlad™’s multi-site mode of action makes it highly effective on fungal cell walls and in disrupting cell metabolism. It is exempt from Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) and has no pre-harvest interval (PHI) nor re-entry interval (REI) established, allowing applications until the end of crop cycles without food contamination risks. Additionally, ProBlad™ is authorized for organic farming, contributing to more sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices.

Certis Belchim as the distributor, will ensure widespread access to ProBlad™ in Romania.
