Problad: the solution for almond growers facing Moniliosis challenges

Due to the increasing difficulties in managing Moniliosis disease in almond trees and the limited options currently available, French Ministry have granted an emergency authorization (Article 53 of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009) for the use of PROBLAD.

The decision has been signed on January 18th to allow the applications of the product PROBLAD from:

1st February 2026 until 1st June 2026 – 120 days

  • Crop : Almonds
  • GAP: 3 applications at 3,2 L/ha, between BBCH 61 and BBCH 87, PHI 1 day.
  • Re-entry period : 6 hours
  • Buffer zone / aquatics : 5 m
  • Residents buffer zone : 10 m

This decision represents an important step forward for sustainable agriculture, offering almond producers an effective alternative for disease control.
