Australia approval

CEV's biofungicide ProBlad™ has received approval in Australia to be used against brown rot and blossom blight to protect stone fruit crops, marking a significant milestone in expanding its global footprint.

Australian stone fruit growers have now a new tool that has been recently approved – the CEV’s biofungicide ProBlad™. It is approved to be used against brown rot and blossom blight on stone fruit crops. FMC Australia will take advantage of its distribution network to market the product under the brand name FRACTURE FUNGICIDE™.

This fungicide offers several benefits: it minimizes resistance development, it is MRLs exempt, leaving no chemical residues on the crops and is versatile in application. It can be used as a foliar spray independently, in rotational spray programs or in a tank mix with other approved pesticides using standard spray equipment. Moreover, it can be applied up to, and, the day of harvest.

This milestone is significant for CEV as it expands the product’s presence into new territories, allowing more farmers to access and benefit from the advantages of this solution.
