After the second marketing campaign and proven efficacy in controlling major fungal diseases in grapes, tomato, stone fruits, strawberries, eggplant, and rice, ProBlad™ sees now it sales authorization being expanded in Portugal. The target diseases include botrytis, powdery mildew, anthracnose, shot hole, monilia and sclerotinia.
This extension covers about 60 new minor uses, including the following crops: almonds, walnut, hazelnut, avocado, mango, pomegranate, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, kiwi, pumpkin, pepper, chili pepper, melon, watermelon, cucumber, zucchini, pea, fava bean, various aromatic plants (rosemary, dill, coriander, fennel, spearmint, peppermint, bay laurel, basil, oregano, and parsley), and medicinal cannabis.
Being exempt from Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) and with no pre-harvest interval (PHI) nor re-entry interval (REI) established, ProBlad™ can be applied until the end of crop cycles without food contamination risks. ProBlad™ is authorized for organic farming. Lusosem is the exclusive distributor in Portugal.
