A new great milestone was now achieved. Today, the EU Commission decided not to establish any specific Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) in Regulation (EC) No. 396/2005 for the active ingredient “aqueous extract from the germinated seeds of sweet Lupinus albus” used in the end-use product ProBlad™.
This milestone is crucial and will position CEV’s active substance as a key tool on the European market, allowing growers to integrate it into their IPM strategies and decreasing residue levels on the treated crops, which is aligned with the modern and demanding food chain requirements.
It will also have a positive impact on worldwide agriculture, facilitating international trade for non-EU growers that export their crops into the European Union.
