CEV proudly announces that ProBlad™ has been approved for use in Panama, expanding its presence in Latin America. Panamanian Authorities have granted the registration, allowing farmers to utilize this innovative fungicide to control diseases like botrytis, powdery mildew, anthracnose, sclerotinia, phytophthora and monilinia, on many crops such as grapes, tomato, stone fruits, strawberries, avocado, cucumber, zucchini, lettuce, peppers, potato, blackberries, papaya, among others. It is also very effective in controlling black sigatoka in bananas.
ProBlad™, with its natural active ingredient BLAD, derived from germinated seeds of Lupins, offers a non-harmful, eco-friendly solution that enhances sustainable farming practices. Distributed by a local partner, International Agrobiological Products, S.A., associated with the CEV partner AgroPy UK, Ltd., ProBlad™ is set to develop crop protection in Panama, providing farmers with an effective tool to increase yield and quality while reducing chemical residues. All these characteristics contribute to aligning Panamanian agriculture with the most demanding food chain quality requirements and facilitating the crop’s international trade.
