ProBlad™ receives authorization for commercialization in Belgium

Belgium has granted registration of ProBlad™, marking a significant milestone in the product’s expansion within Europe.

This authorization highlights ProBlad™’s versatility and efficacy, positioning it as a valuable asset for sustainable agriculture in Belgium.

Approved uses and applications:

  • Hazel, Common Walnut and Sweet Chestnut Trees: Control of powdery mildew, blossom blight, and brown rot.
  • Apricot, Sweet and Sour Cherry, Peach, Nectarine and Plums: Control of powdery mildew, blossom blight, and brown rot.
  • Grapevines (Wine Production and Table Grapes): Control of powdery mildew and botrytis.
  • Strawberries (in greenhouse and open field): Control of powdery mildew and botrytis.
  • Kiwi: Control of powdery mildew, blossom blight, and brown rot.
  • Tomato, Sweet peppers, Chili peppers, Eggplant and Cucumber (in greenhouse): Control of powdery mildew and botrytis.
  • Cucurbits in Greenhouse (Zucchini; Melon; Watermelon, Pumpkin, etc.): Control of powdery mildew and botrytis.
  • Brassicas in Greenhouse (Chinese cabbage, Curly kale, etc.): Control of powdery mildew and botrytis.
  • Among others.

ProBlad™’s multi-site mode of action makes it highly effective on fungal cell walls and in disrupting cell metabolism. It is exempt from Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) and has no pre-harvest interval (PHI) nor re-entry interval (REI) established, allowing applications until the end of crop cycles without food contamination risks. Additionally, ProBlad™ is authorized for organic farming, contributing to more sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices.

Certis Belchim as the distributor, will ensure widespread access to ProBlad™ in Belgium.
