Many years have passed, developing process, product, conducting multiple field trials, delivering registration dossiers but finally CEV may now announce that has achieved the first sale of its biofungicide. After the registration releasing, CEV delivered the first batch of product to its exclusive distributor in USA – FMC Corporation, a top agrochemical company listed in the New York Stock Exchange. FMC will sell the new biofungicide under the brand name FRACTURE FUNGICIDE™.
FRACTURE FUNGICIDE™ has a natural active ingredient called BLAD, which is a protein obtained from the germinated seeds of Lupins. With the exemption of the requirement of a tolerance “MRL exempt”, farmers now count on with a biological, non-harmful, and eco-friendly tool to control diseases, manage resistances and decrease the use of conventional chemicals on their crops.
This achievement represents a major milestone for CEV, establishing its product´s presence in the USA, a global leader in agricultural markets. With FMC Corporation’s extensive distribution network and expertise, CEV’s product can now reach farmers nationwide. CEV expects to expand its presence to other countries in the near future, providing biological solutions to more farmers worldwide.
